The City of Robertsdale Planning Commission is a group of volunteer citizens appointed by the Mayor. They review and make decisions regarding proposed subdivision developments within the City of Robertsdale. They also review Rezoning and Annexation requests and make recommendations to the City Council.
To inquire about the zoning of a particular property, please fill out a Zoning Verification Form and send it via email to Kate Whalley.
The Planning Commission meets on the fourth Monday of every month at 6:00 pm in the City Hall (Meeting Schedule). The agenda is posted at the City of Robertsdale website on the city calendar the Friday before the meeting. These meetings are open to the public. The City of Robertsdale is updating its Comprehensive Plan. A Comprehensive Plan is intended to act as a "roadmap" to develop strategies and actions that will address issues regarding land use, future growth and development, housing, public facilities (buildings & utilities), parks & open spaces, community services and transportation (vehicular & pedestrian).

The Zoning Board of Adjustments is responsible for reviewing Variances, Special Exception Permits and Zoning Administrative Appeals. Their meetings are open to the public.
