November 5, 2012, Mayor Charles Murphy is sworn in for his 6th term as Mayor.  Councilman Joe Kitchens is sworn in for his seventh term, Councilman Brent Kendrick is sworn in for his sixth term, Councilmen Paul Hollingsworth and Sue Cooper are sworn in for their fourth term and Ruthie Campbell is sworn in for her first term on the City Council.  (see complete article in The Independent)
